About the Artist

Laura’s work is occupied with the engagement we have with pattern and colour its ability to connect us with the environments and objects we surround ourselves with. As a designer Laura’s approach is centred around developing democratic products as a vehicle for the interaction with image, colour, pattern, and print as part of the everyday. Process is an integral part of Laura’s practice with drawing, image and printmaking at its core. Laura’s outcome is predominately resolved through the intuitive method of working with composition, colour and surface through the act of making.
