A photography exhibition, by local artist Laura Mate.
Amazing Finds in Bingley, West Yorkshire – a distinctive hub for vintage and industrial design – is proud to announce its first-ever art exhibition.
The exhibition showcases a series of paired portraits, capturing Bradford’s residents 25 years ago in 2000, alongside new portraits from the past year. By bridging Bradford’s past and present, we invite the audience to reflect on the city’s evolution and its thriving multicultural identity. These images serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of community, history, and the citizens who are the life and soul.
The gallery space at Amazing Finds offers an inclusive environment to learn about and embrace one another’s culture’s, traditions and shared values in this wonderfully diverse region – particularly relevant as Bradford celebrates UK City of Culture 2025.
Housed in a former billiard room above Martinez Wines in Bingley’s old Conservative Club, Amazing Finds is known for its curated mix of vintage furniture, industrial salvage, and mid-century design classics. Established in 2019, the space has become a go-to destination for interior designers, collectors, and anyone with a love of British heritage and design.
The opening night on Friday, 14th November 2025 (5.00 pm – 8.30 pm) offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the art, explore the vintage finds, and raise a glass in style — all set to a backdrop of laid-back beats.
This exhibition marks the next step in Amazing Finds’ creative journey — blending art, history, and design in an environment where every object has a story to tell.
