I’m fascinated by light effects and water around ‘Our Place’. Locations like: Ilkley Lido, the Wharfe and Aire, the fountains at City Park. Here calligraphic brushstrokes create an impression of dynamism, density, flow, shimmer, refraction, depth and glare. The overstimulated swimmer moves through the ambiguous spectacle that is ‘Our Place’.
