These works explore “OurPlace” through African textiles, expressing how culture is carried across borders. “The Weight We Carry” reflects inherited memory, while “Mending the Gaps” speaks to healing the disruptions of migration. Together they connect my heritage with Bradford’s textile history, revealing place as something lived, carried, and continually repaired.
